    Professional Bio

    Dr Hani A. Salam is a Lebanese-Canadian consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Hani obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Medicine at the American University of Beirut followed by his D.D.S. from the Lebanese University. He completed his residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery & Anesthesia at the University of Toronto and his Ph.D. studies at McGill University and the Lady Davis Institute in Canada. Currently, Hani is an Adjunct Professor and a Faculty Advisory Board Member at the Faculty of Dentistry, McGill University, and at Shriner's Hospital for Children.  Hani practices oral and maxillofacial surgery in several countries in the Middle East and is based in Dubai, UAE. Dr. Salam is the former Director of McGill University Continuing Dental Education in the Middle East & North Africa & former Program Director of the Post-graduate Program of Oral Surgery & Implantology, in Dubai, UAE.  Hani is a member and fellow of several professional organizations including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, International Association of Dental Research, International College of Dentists, among others, and he is the Education Delegate for the International Team of Implantology (ITI) Middle East Section. Dr Salam has published in peer-reviewed journals and is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences.
